Hyundai Shows Shadowy New Equus Before 2013 NY Auto Show Debut

The refreshed 2014 Hyundai Equus may not be making its official debut until this year's New York Auto Show, but that doesn't mean it hasn't been seen lurking around. In fact, to satisfy its fans, Hyundai has released a shadowy image of the new vehicle, which will make its way to the NYC Javits Center at the end of the month.

Though the image is too dark to notice any major styling changes, the brand has promised at least 30 updates for the sleek sedan, including improvements to ride and handling, cabin materials, and styling. The brand also promises advancements in "driver technology displays" and advanced safety features. Though your guess is likely as good as ours, the latter may be something like a digital, reconfigurable gauge cluster.

The one change we can really see from the photo is its new multi-spoke wheels, but we're sure that the automaker will be releasing many more details before its official debut on March 27, 2013. Of course, Green Family Hyundai, serving the Moline area, will be keeping a close eye on the show and all of its developments.
