Hyundai Veloster is KBB's Coolest Car Under $18,000

Yep, the Veloster is pretty much the Steve McQueen of Cars under $18,000. Just imagine how cool that Bullitt chase scene would've been if Steve were driving a Veloster. On second thought, that might've been too much cool for one movie.

Apparently the new Hyundai had just the right amount of fun and attitude to land in the top spot on KBB.com's "10 Coolest New Cars Under $18,000". The editors were, of course, impressed by the model's unique styling. After all, there aren't too many three door vehicles out there. However, they were pretty taken with what's on the inside, too. And mom always said that's what really matters.

First off, under the hood it features an available twin scroll turbo engine that can crank out over 200hp. All the while, it achieves a stunning 35 mpg on the highway. Of course, you could also scale things back a bit and opt for the 1.6-liter GDI to get up to 37 mpg on the highway.

Moving along to the interior, the audio system will fit your taste and your preferred listening device as it can play music via Bluetooth, your mp3 player, or if you're feeling sentimental, pop in a CD. For those of you who take tech to the next level, you can sync up your smartphone with your vehicle, enabling a remote start app.

Those are just a few of the coolest features. To get the full run-through or to get behind the wheel of a new Veloster in Moline stop by Green Family Hyundai and we can set up a test run for you. We ask that you skip your Frank Bullitt impression, though. We don't particularly want any chase scenes beginning or ending at our Moline, IL dealership.
