HCD-14 Genesis Concept Earns Autoweek Award

Hyundai has taken center stage during the past few years with some new awards under their belt.  As an example,  the Santa Fe, Elantra and Azera which have all been awarded 2013 ALG's Highest Residual Value Awards.

Obviously, these awards were given to existing models in Green Family Hyundai's lineup.  But what if we told you that there's a Hyundai model that is still in the planning stages that has also been recognized?  Would you think that's pretty impressive?  We think so!

The model we're referring to is the brand-new Hyundai HCD-14 Genesis Concept. Autoweek  recently named the concept model 'Best Concept' at the North American International Auto Show Editors Choice Awards.

Not only did the car get the Best Concept designation, but also three others including, "Best in Show, Most Significant and Most Fun." While we at Green Family Hyundai are incredibly proud of Hyundai, we knew the concept car is a sure winner.

The all-new Hyundai HCD-14 Genesis Concept presents a smooth, lightweight profile with an interior that keep the driver in mind with the ultimate infotainment features.  The premium-sport 4-door coupe also offers innovative driver eye-tracking and hand-gesture recognition and thumb controls for select navigation, audio, HVAC and smartphone connectivity functions. It also sports a Hyundai Tau V8 engine with direct injection and D-CVVT (Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing).

We feel like Hyundai has made even greater progress as a top selling automaker.  We are so excited to keep up with the development of this new Hyundai HCD-14 Genesis Concept.  If you'd also like to stay informed, we encourage you to subscribe, via your RSS feed, to the Green Family Hyundai blog or swing by 6801 44th Avenue, Moline, IL 61265 to learn more, first hand.
