Hyundai Jumps in to Personal Transport with E4U Concept

If you're a city dweller, or a man/woman about town, and you need to get somewhere quickly, a new Hyundai is always helpful. But, what if there's limited parking, or some tight corners to navigate? That's where something like a personal transport vehicle comes in, and lucky for us, Hyundai has developed one wiht the E4U concept.

Showcasing the model at the Seoul Motor Show, it works much like a Segway would. You navigate the vehicle by moving your body in the direction you want to go. However, the E4U has much more stability thanks to two wheels in the back, and its orbital frame that keeps you safely inside from the mid-section down. For additional protection, drivers can put on the windshield, literally. You wear it on your head.

The Hyundai E4U concept has a top speed of 19 miles per hour using a 500 watt electric motor, so those quick trips up and down the block will take no time at all.

We're going to be following the progress of the E4U here on the Green Family Hyundai blog, where you can get the latest information on new Hyundai vehicles, and events happening at our dealership.

You can also stop in to 6801 44th Avenue, Moline, IL 61265 during our regular business hours. We'd be happy to show you models like the Sonata and Santa Fe, answer any questions you might have, and arrange a test drive at your convenience.
