The Hyundai Elantra Coming Soon to China

Up until now, the Hyundai Elantra has not been available to the Chinese market.  Here in the greater Moline area and across the nation, drivers are able to revel in all its offerings. The Elantra is currently available in a sedan and soon available in a coupe option.  Recently, Hyundai has decided to expand the model to the ever-so-popular Chinese market.

We found out that Hyundai recently filed a patent in China for the Elantra Coupe.  Once the patent is filed, the car will be ready to hit the production line.  You might wonder why a patent is necessary.  Chinese car manufacturing companies have been known to take other manufacturer ideas and claim them as their own. The patent lets other manufacturers know that the car's design and technology belongs to Hyundai and gives the company a leg to stand on in the event of a lawsuit.

Here in America, the Hyundai Elantra Coupe has earned rave reviews from automotive writers.  The car has a 1.8-liter, four-cylinder engine and outputs 148 horsepower with a six-speed automatic or manual transmission. If you like the sedan and are considering a 2-door option, drop by our dealership located at 6801 44th Avenue, Moline, IL  and coordinate a test drive in this exciting new option.
